My resurrection story.

There are times in our lives, when we have been in situations similar to the crucifixion story.

We see our messiah in Matt 27:32-46, who was said to be the one to save us , mocked , disgraced, dehumanized to the extent that he cried out to the Lord saying “why have you forsaken me “.

I remember back then when I had just finished school and was searching for a job. I had been turned down several times, this had left me sad and weak. I thought God had forsaken me.

I imagined people saying to themselves, “isn’t she the one always going to church and all that”. A few people were worried for me.

Jesus had been in the tomb for 3 days, he was laid in a tomb with people expecting a resurrection as he(Christ) had said would happen. Two days had passed, people would have thought “that man has gone for good or May be his God couldn’t save him”

God waited 3 days before he rose Jesus up. It took me awhile before I got my job. I had no idea God was writing my own resurrection story. Now I can look back to that experience whenever I’m going through anything, and be rest assured that God is with me.

There’s always a resurrection story/experience for you as a believer. When it seems like as if all is lost, remember our Lord Jesus Christ was raised up by God from the grave, so in your situation God will always have the victory!
